कॉलेज रोज़ जाता था। दिन भर प्रेमी जोड़े दिखते रहते थे या यूँ कहूँ कि आँखें खोजती रहती थी। एक लड़की रोज़ लाइब्रेरी में दिखती थी। एक दिन जब वो लाइब्रेरी में आयी तो साथ में एक लड़का कंधे पर बैग टाँगे उसके साथ साथ लाइब्रेरी में आया। लाइब्रेरियन ने डाँट दिया कि मालूम नहीं है कि बैग बाहर रखना होता है। लड़की हँस दी। लड़का मुस्कुरा दिया। दोनों घंटे भर लाइब्रेरी में बैठे रहे। लड़की अपने कोर्स की किताबें पढ़ती रही और लड़का कभी फ़ोन चलाता तो कभी यूँ ही किताबों के कुछ पन्ने पलट लेता। लड़की ने घंटे भर में क़रीब बीस पेज पढ़े। लड़के ने घंटे भर में दो पेज पढ़े। जिस लड़के को इतना नहीं मालूम कि लाइब्रेरी में बैग ले जाने की मनाही है मतलब वो लाइब्रेरी पहली बार आया होगा। दो पेज कम नहीं होते। मतलव प्रेम में बहुत ताकत होती है। प्रेम लड़के को किताबों के क़रीब तो ले ही आया।
